The Q-Team completed their 29th visit to a learning disability service yesterday. The team are looking forward to the 30th. The Q-Team have now represented close to 250 people with learning disabilities living in supported living or registered care services across East & West Sussex. The Q-Kit model of quality checking continues to help people across the country have their say about their support service.
Today the Q-Team are at the 3VA conference in Lewes where we have met some wonderful people in the volunteer sector who are also working on worthwhile causes.

Here are some more photos from The Q-Kit stall at the Learning Disabilities Today conference on 28th November 2013. The Q-Team really enjoyed meeting people and talking enthusiastically about the sorts of things that we have seen in our quality checks and some of the things that people have wanted to talk about. The Q-Team were also really proud to show off the promotional video that they star in and helped to produce and examples of the video reports that we make. The team used a variety of drinks to illustrate The Q-Kit values of quality. The most popular on the day being the smoothie but was this based on flavour or nutritional value or perceived health benefits or another reason?? Who knows why people make the choices that they make just as long as EVERYONE has the right to make them!
